Cory has always had a passion for sports, both as a player and a coach. After competing with Team NL and the Memorial University Seahawks in volleyball, he developed a strong belief in creating fun, positive, and competitive environments for athletes to grow. This philosophy guided his success coaching the Team NL U16 boys volleyball team.

Over the past decade, Cory has coached multiple youth sports, including more than eight years in baseball and, more recently, basketball at the school level with his sons. He values the chance to support young athletes as they grow as individuals, teammates, and competitors, and now brings his multi-sport coaching experience to basketball with SJMB.
