At a young age, Scott developed a love for all sports including hockey, volleyball, and basketball. Scott started to play basketball with his school in grade 7. It was then he developed a deep interest in the sport. He continued to played throughout his junior and senior school years.

Around the same age, Scott’s son expressed an interest in basketball, and enrolled with the St. John’s Minor Basketball. Scott never missed a practice or a game, and not only became a huge supporter for his son, but for the whole team. This enticed Scott to became the head coach of his son’s school grade 6, and 7 basketball team.

With his competitive nature and supportive coaching approach, Scott was very happy to become an assistant coach with the St. John’s Minor Basketball and continue his love of the game.
