David grew up a multi-sport athlete in Central Newfoundland. A leader both on and off the court; coaching came naturally to him.

His coaching career began at the age of 16. His coaching highlights include multiple Eastern Canadian volleyball championships, while also having the opportunity to coach alongside the likes of former Toronto Raptor, Morris Peterson, and NBA Canada Slam Dunk Champion, Daniel Kabeya.

After a few years away from the game, David returns to the court to help teach the fundamentals to the future of St. John’s Minor Basketball.
