Cassie has been involved in the basketball scene for over 20 years. She grew up in the Gould’s and started playing basketball in grade 5 level and continued until grade 12 at St. Kevin’s High School.

Cassie was the team manager for the 2022 Canada Games Girls Basketball team that travelled to Niagara Falls, as well as a number of provincial teams over the years here in NL. Cassie has also been a part of the Memorial Men’s Seahawks Basketball team for the past 14 years and continues to take on the role today. Cassie started coaching with SJMB back in 2020 and has fallen in love with coaching at the youth level! She hopes everyone she coaches finds the love for the game just as she did at that age!

Cassie works with the Government of NL with the Department of Justice as the Jury Coordinator for Newfoundland and Labrador, and has held that position for the past 15 years. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys spending time with family and friends; especially her two nephews, Jake and Jameson. Cassie also enjoys dog sitting for a number or families, including Coach Erica’s dog, Abraham!  She is looking forward to another great season with SJMB!
