Cody decided to put his NBA dreams on hold to coach with St. John’s Minor Basketball, and to infuse the love of the game in the next generation, including his two kids Leo and Sadie.

He is one of the last true point guards in the sport, and a ‘Shark and Minnows’ legend. Basketball isn’t the only sport he dominates at, Cody is the 2008 Four Square World Champion.

Coaching youth basketball through this program is an incredible source of joy for Cody and is part of what inspired him to return to university to become a primary/elementary teacher.

On the court, or in the classroom, Cody always brings a fun and positive energy.
