Dakota is a grade 11 student at Waterford Valley High. She has been playing basketball ever since grade 3 (9 years ago). She has a passion for the sport and currently plays basketball on the Senior A team at WVH, who were 2023 4A Champions. She also played in the club scene for many years, most recently on the under 18 women’s team with CE23 from August 2022 to May 2023.

Dakota is very athletic and plays on multiple sports teams. She became a basketball coach with SJMB in September of 2022 & has coached girls under 10, under 12 and under 14 programs. Dakota has also coached grade 5 girls at Cowan Heights Elementary (September 2021 – June 2022). Dakota was a member of SJMB/Rock Elite program for almost 2 years. During this time, Dakota improved on her game tremendously which resulted in her earning MVP of the high-school girls spring league for 2022. Dakota worked as a summer camp coach with SJMB June 2022 – August 2022 & is returning for Summer 2023. Dakota truly enjoys helping others learn the sport and what being part of a team is all about!
