Hunter began playing basketball at the age of 10 and has been involved with the sport ever since. During high school, he attended Holy Heart and played on the Senior A team for all three years, including being part of the team that won the 4A provincial championship in 2019. He also represented NLBA, competing at the U15 National Championships in Kamloops, BC, in 2018.

Following high school, Hunter attended the University of New Brunswick, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology while serving as a student manager for the men’s basketball team. He is currently pursuing his Master of Public Health at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Hunter is excited to bring his knowledge, experience, and passion for the game to SJMB and looks forward to helping develop the next generation of basketball players.
